Hi there,

I have tried changing the code etc but to no avail. I am using PHP Nuke 7.7 installed via Fantastico. Can anyone help?

The problem is in Nuke itself. I have breifly looked into it but not found a solution as of yet.

Ok thanks Tazz, I have the option of upgrading PHP Nuke via Fantastico to vers 7.8, do you think that would solve it (I think i'll have to learn how to install PHP!)

No the problem will still be there. Trying to figure out how we can force the Tinymice editor not to load in block files. 7.8 and 7.9 both use Tinymice as well. If you dont use the Tinymice editor than it could always be disabled which would solve the issue.

Thanks once again for the replay Tazz, i'm still trying to find my feet with PHP Nuke and don't know what Tinymice is, is it this?

If I am on the right track I know its a pain, esp when i'm logged in as admin and I try to leave a post in my forum as it keeps leaving <br> and other bits everywhere!! How do I disable it, is it possible?

As I say i'm still trying to learn PHP to please excuse my ignorance when it comes to it, hopefully we can get it sorted out!

Yes thats the tinymice editor. Is the editor loading in your forums too? There is a problem with nuke and the <br> issue on the forums. Not familiar with it myself but I am sure google can turn up the result fairly quick.

To disable it, you can comment out the tinymice code in the includes/javascript.php or it can be modified to where it can be turned off via the config file.

I only have problems with it when i'm logged in as admin on my site, any other time its ok I just get the white editer like all my members get to write messages etc. I'll do a Google and also look in the files you mentioned, turning it off would be great

Thanks once again for you're help

well I was having the same problem, so I was thinking why not just remove
the javascript.php file from with in includes folder.
And WALA it worked, I was suprised to notice my problem was finally gone.

Well check it out at my site:
