Identify & Manage Processes on Local and Remote Computers!
What Process? is freeware software from Uretopia Limited that allows you to identify
and manage processes running on your own local computer, as well as on remote
computers on your network.
What Does It Do?
Lists Processes on Local or Remote PCs!
Tells you the process path!
Identifies the process by linking to this website!
Helps you find Spyware!
Lets you terminate troublesome processes!
This is a great tool for SysAdmins everywhere - and it's absolutely free.
The application is a .NET based, so you need the framework installed on your computer
before you run the application. You can download it from Windows Update if you
don't have it already. It uses WMI to connect to the target machines, so it will
only work in 2003, XP, 2000 environments, unless you have actually manually installed
WMI on an older OS.
You must have admin rights over the machine that you are connecting to. If
the account you are logged in as doesn't have admin rights, use the RunAs command
and connect using an account that does.
